Kimber turnaround time

I just sent my new Tac Pro ll back for service. Was having an ejection issue they attributed to the timing being off, not sure what that means, but while there I chose to have a trigger enhancement job done. My question is this, they say a 4-6 week turnaround time. If S&W had said that it would mean 4-6 months, if Sig had said it it would be 4-6 days. Has anyone had a gun in for service lately and what is a realistic turnaround time with Kimber?

I've seen turn around time vary from days to months it all depends on how busy they are and how bad the problem is.

I sent mine back a few months ago for barrel work, ramp polish and extractor adjustment. They got it back to me in 2 weeks.

I messed up one of the cylinders on my convertible 45 Ruger and had to send it back for them to fix it..

It arrived at their facility this past Monday {10th} and it arrived back to me today...

Kimber has awesome CS also, but the turn around time could use a little speed up time..

Sent my Charter Arms Pitbull 40. In for light primer strikes and not locking up tight. (weak spring) and shooting left. They replaced the firing pin, Hammer Spring, Ejecter spring and tweeked in the sights. Had it back no charge, (they even sent the shipper and box.) on my door step 5 days after I shipped it to them. Best customer service I ever had from any company. She shoots perfect now.

Going nuts already.

Sent in my Stainless Ultra Raptor this week. I am already waiting for the UPS truck to bring it back - but they just drive by.

I was told 4 to 6 weeks.

Don't be hatin' on the Kimber gunsmiths, bro! It's not their fault that Kimber has so many defective products returned.

I have several kimbers and never have sent one back for service, not sure why so many people seem to have trouble with them.
