Rare Kimber Ultra's

Just picked up my latest Kimber Ultra in .40 S&W today, so I thought I'd share my Ultra collection.

Top Left: Stainless Ultra Carry Series I .40 S&W

Bottom Left: Stainless Ultra Carry II. 40 S&W

Top Right: Ultra CDP II .40 S&W

Bottom Right: Ultra Ten CDP II 45ACP

What do y'all think? I sure wish Kimber had a way of seeing how many of each model were produced so I can see how many others there are out there.

Where on earth do you find these things????

How do the 40's run? Out of fashion right now I know, but I still like 40 and think a 1911 in one would be cool. Have not heard great things about reliability though.

I have seen some production numbers posted here, not sure where they came from but Kimber did not make very many in 40.

I had a couple hang ups with the Series I .40 when I first got it a couple years ago used, but I think it was magazine related and I haven't shot it yet since buying a Wilson Combat mag. It's just been sitting in the safe.

Both the CDP .40 and Ultra Carry II .40 I just got within the past couple weeks after getting lucky and finding them for sale. I'm hoping to shoot them within the next couple weeks and I'll report back with how it goes. I just cleaned them all tonight so they're range ready.

I personally love to shoot 40's and even if they do end up having any hiccups I'll be alright with them sitting in the safe.

I typically daily carry a Glock or P365 with zero issues. But if I find after shooting these that there are no issues, then I'll gladly carry them.

Thank you very much! I've had several more Kimber Ultra's including a Stainless 9mm that I just sold my brother and a few 45's. They're great guns.
