I purchased a curved SA one from one of our members on here and it work just fine. I wouldn't recommend the curved one but I would purchase an other regular one from same company.

I have read some reviews on other forums most are favorable. Kimber wants 83.00 + 11.00 shipping. I can get Smith and A for 67.00 free shipping. If Iwent that route it would allow me to put 27.00 towards the cut grips I know I will want cuzz I like things to look like they were meant to be there. Fit and finish is Muy Importante!

If you install the mag well you have to change the grips. If not it looks like your pants are to short or something. Lol

Well I am convinced I just ordered one. The flat back instead of zoomie speak (curved ) meaning arched. Thanks for the tip on that I was originally looking at the arched one not thinking. Now to pick out some nice cut grips.

I have used and installed several of the SA msh/magwell and like them. I have never had to fit one on a Kimber frame. I prefer flat back strap but do have an arched one that is used that I would sell.

I found the curved mainspring housing or arched if your a smart ass lol made me grip the gun differently and just felt to thick for me. I purchased mine from gator and I think he had experience the same thing. I really liked the SA one and had I realized the Kimber one I purchased was two piece and not a one piece I may have ordered a different one. But I am happy with the Kimber one.
