Kimber CA compliant pistols

Probably a strange question but here goes anyway. I don't live in CA (happily) but I'm looking to add another 1911 and am thinking about going with a Kimber for the first time.
The one I'm most interested in at the moment is the Pro Carry II in black. It turns out that the only one is CA compliant. The only difference I see between this one and the two tone that isn't CA compliant is that this one has a carbon steel barrel and the two tone is a match grade stainless barrel.
This will be added to my carry rotation so match grade isn't that important to me.
Just wonder if anyone knows is Kimber adds anything else to make these pistols CA compliant that I won't like?

Ca compliant 1911ís also have an additional safety (grip?) I believe, which may or may not be an issue for you. I have two Ca compliant Kimbers and never an issue with either.
