Holster Advice

If I am gonna try an OWB holster and I have never tried one before, what style should I go with at first?

I am in the car a lot.

Should I start with a Pancake stye?

I'll be looking at Wright, Sparks, Galco, Adams and Garrity Gun Leather.

Of those manufacturers you've mentioned, the one I'd get is the Milt Sparks Axiom. First, because it's a pancake style. Secondly, because it has snaps on the loops. I find it really nice to be able to put on the holster without having to unthread my belt from my pants.

The most comfortable OWB holster I have found it Tucker. They really work for me and fit superbly. They are a Kydex holster with a leather lining.
I usually and all about Leather and leather only until I tried Tucker.

I watched a bunch of YouTubes and I am impressed. It appears the premiere holster makers use Hermann Oaks leather.

Thanks!

I'm thinking of narrowing my holster choices down to only the makers that use Hermann Oak leather? From my searching it appears only Wright and Tucker use it. Are their others? I've sent emails to several asking them.

Winthrop holsters is a great place to start for a inexpensive price. See if you like then upgrade to others from there. I will break the news to you now.... you will end up with a drawer just for your holsters!

I plan on limiting myself to 2 per pistol. That's why I'm seeking all your advice.
