A buddy needed some cash so I gave him the $250 he wanted and now I am the proud owner of the Kimber shown. I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that this gun is not hot. I have the original box with a bill of sale made out to my friend. I don't know anything about it so any input is appreciated. I was hoping it to be an early to mid 90s model. Will find out with a call to them tomorrow but I would like to knwo what you all think. Thanks!
Dave, it's official you stole that one. Welcome to the site from Tennessee.
Model name will be under the ejection port.
Predecessor to the CDP model line.
Looks a little like a CDP Elite but I don't think that's it. Won't have CDP in there I don't think...
We can tell from your pic, It has Wilson Combat grips on it, it is an Ultra something 3" barrel, has early Kimber Heavy Melt Carry treatment (desirable, very nice). Your year (mid 90's) I'll say is close. Kimber customer service should be able to give you a born on date from your serial number.
