Ultra carry II front sight replacement

so i purchased my first kimber, and love it, way better and more comfortable than my glock, however i bought truglo replacement sights, and a tool to do the removal, but it doesn't fit the front slide, is there a push tool specifically for the ultra carry II for the front sight removal?
thanks in advance

A good site pusher should be all you need. I replaced mine and the front factory site was extremely tight, the tru glo's were no where as tight going back in. I recommend using quite a bit of blue loctite when reinstalling.

Welcome to the forum BB1299, as wayne said good sight pusher is definitely helpful, Kimber sights are known to be extremely tight.

i bought a pusher tool, but where the return spring "loop" is on the front of the slide doesn't allow the tool i purchased to work, i've looked online for the correct pusher, but just haven't found the right one.
but thank for at least answering me.

You didn’t post your location but I took mine to GS Custom Guns and Ammo in St. Pete Florida. He did it in ten minutes while I waited and charged me $20. Check around and you may find a great gunsmith also.
