In case nobody seen this, I'll leave it right here for your consideration. (Not mine)...

Looks like he's been trying to sell that one for a couple years. Kimber's current lineup has plenty of guns that have a higher coolness factor, in my opinion.

I've seen that gun many times before, not something I'm interested in.

I know there are others, but I was more impressed that it was #2 in a series of 300. Not about the impressive, better or whats currently out there. I merely posted it for any collectors, (like Arland, hehe), that might like it.

NOPE! Yawn. Already have a better Kimber, it can't be better than my Gold Combat Limited Edition. (with new Mammoth Ivory)
If I'm spending that much coin for a pistol I'm going to shoot it and it will probably be a Stainless Nighthawk...

You'd think someone who wants to sell a 1911 for $3,000 would do better than crap pics from 2015.

I wonder how many of this Special Edition model Kimber made? Mine shows KRT297 with no zeros preceding. Both the Gold Guardian and Arland's gun have four digit serial numbers. hmmmm

I might consider letting it go for even less than the Gold Guardian thingie. Maybe...

BTW, you know about their new 1911 drop in trigger systems? 20% off on sale too.

Yes, aware of the trigger system. No, not aware of the 20% off sale.
