SIS Pistol Info

I found a used Kimber SIS Pro model pistol that I kind of like. However it is a really ugly OD Green color and other than being green I can't tell if it is original finish.

Does anyone know what the original finish from Kimber was on these SIS pistols? I don't see this ugly OD Green being original but stranger things could happen.

Also what type and style sights were original? Did they have three dot night sights?

Any info welcome.

EDIT: Photo Added! Of SIS pistol in question.

That color is definitely NOT normal, though night sites are. Great pistol, if it wasn't screwed up too much.

EDIT: OK, based on that picture that pistol is "FUGLY". Somebody needs a whipping for that atrocity.

I saw Pro model's but none the ugly OD Green color didn't think it was original. I can have the color changed that is not a problem. Just a little afraid of this internals since someone put such an ugly color outside.

I don't even think the grips are correct on the one I posted pic of.

Arland the color and grips on the SIS Pro you have pictured is not original. The gun came in a dark gray with night sights with a cocking shoulder, grip safety with a memory bump and what I think were some cool looking grips, it's too bad that Kimber decided to discontinue the gun after only 2 years, (2008-2010).

Thanks Chuck, I did find a pretty good write up about the SIS this afternoon by Guns and Ammo magazine, it was very helpful and interesting.
Not sure what a fair buyers price would be for an SIS. I feel they are "asking" to much for the one pictured since it has so much incorrect stuff and who knows what they did to the internal parts.
