Thinking about Sig Sauer P238!

I would think about a P938 except I cannot buy a 938 in California at least not a new one. I would consider a used one if I could find one.

That being said I am considering the 238 There are two models available to me one is the HD Stainless and the two tone TSS. If anybody owns one of these two models. I would like to hear your experiences or opinions. I know the HD is Heavier but that is about all I know. Pro and cons heard here>

I bought the Nitron about a year ago and the same day my wife picked out the rainbow; hers is a little more expensive, it came with night sites mine did not so check to see for sure if the one you're choosing really does have night sites. I was disappointed when I got home and found mine didn't. But that aside neither gun has ever failed with any ammo we put in it and they're really handy; it is my wife's primary and I use mine as a back up to either my P938 or my Sig NMR.

It's the little one. I put double diamond rosewood grips on all three.

I am thinking about the two tone because it is just over 15oz. Might be an occasion to strap it to my ankle.

So I'm guessing the solo and the micro 380 are not available in California. 😞

For me that is absolutely the most uncomfortable way to carry but that's just me. YMMV

I have never tried it that way myself. IWB would probably less problem I do not know. If I did it that way I might like the HD better cause I like the extra weight in my hand it just feels more natural.

I am to old and fluffy to strap a pistol to my ankle that I might need in an emergency. Under the best conditions I do well to just put my shoes on.

That thought has crossed my mind also. It would be very distressful If I could not defend myself because I could not reach my gun with any efficiency. Maybe the P238 HD with a good IWB. I do appreciate all the input. I get to think about scenarios I had not thought about.
