Rimfire Conversion Question?

Ok I got an email from Kimber says offering 15% off conversion kits. I have several .22 pistols but using the kit on some of the Kimber's could be fun and pretty cool. I know Chuck and Zoomy has .22 kits. Since I have more Ultra's than anything else I would buy the compact size kit. Couple questions.
1. Since it says install on your .45 frame in min. I assume it won't work on Kimber 9mm frames?

2. The kit comes with one magazine. Is there two different sizes of .22 conversion magazines, compact and full size? Going to need some extras.

I don't know if the kit will fit on a 9mm frame or not, you might have to call Kimber on that.

They both use the same 10 round magazine, the compact conversion kit includes a spacer that blends the magazine into short gripped pistols. They also have an optional flush fitting 8 round magazine that you can buy.

I think Zoomy has the compact kit and I seem to remember him having some minor problems with the magazine or the adaptor piece or something? He will tell us later.

I'm hoping that Kimber says it will work, if it does I may pick up a compact kit myself.

I believe he uses it on the "project gun" that he had done for his wife..

The Tiffany gun, but once again he deleted all of the pictures.....

I received a 22 conversion kit for my P938 for Christmas. I don't know anything about the Kimber but I can tell you that it's really fun to shoot 22's out of one of your favorite guns; a cheap way to practice trigger control and such. Go for it.😀

I do have a 22 conversion for me wife's gun. I purchased the small one fits ultra and pro. Worked flawless with high velocity ammo
I did have problems with the magazine when I tried to use it with my ultra that has a mag well on it. With the Ultra adaptor it hit the mag well and didn't work properly. I tried without the adaptor and it went into the gun to far and didn't work properly. So don't plan on using it with a gun that has a mag well. Other than that it's great. I will post some pictures
