Kimber question

If a person, say myself, were to buy one of each model Kimber produces in handguns, how many would this person have to buy?

I am not talking different caliber, barrel lengths or grip choices or such in each model, just how many models are currently produced.

Darn I wouldn't want to guess, lots. You can go to Kimbers site and add them up, but if you want to be on point include discountiued models also.
All I know for sure is I have owned four different models, two Warriors, two CDP's, a Super Carry HD and a Tactical.

<1>^^^^^Well they stopped making the plastic frame model years ago. (There may have been a plastic LE model that never made it to market.)

I'd bet ole Chunkie has Kimber sales/production history bookmarked.

Call Wilson Combat, Ed Brown or Les Baer, I'll bet they could tell you. Kimber keeps them on their toes on whats popular

True statement there. On another note, who has more models. Kimber or Sig? I'd guess 1911 wise it would be Kimber, but include the P series and Sig wins hands down. Their web site is gun after gun after gun, crazy how many they have.

It's been a while but my last count found 90 different models of 1911 pistols in 14 different factory named categories.
2sharp2, roketdoc and 1911fan like this.

Thanks Chuck. Now all I have to go is get the Better Half to either find them on sale occasionally or else allocate me more money so I can make faster purchases.
