I just got a pain in my wallet!

I got some updates from Blue Ridge. I wan't really in the mood for anything, of course, then I saw the new Kizer!

That brand is known for it's slavish attention to detail. You won't find a scratch or a buffing mark anywhere on the knife. It's almost too pretty to stuff in my jeans, but I do anyway.

Hey, it's only 300 bucks. I've had metal stuff pulled out of me that cost a lot more than that!

That is handsome. Some simple, hand-filed scrolling on blued liners would look... oh never mind, it's perfect.

Oh, and did I mention they come sharper than a Japanese thoracic surgeon's scalpel?

Obviously, they are stone sharpened. I have a 30K stone, and I don't think I could hit their marks without glass.

I have not tested a Japanese thoracic surgeon's scalpel, but I do have a pretty cool set of Japanese kitchen knives, so I bet it's pretty sharp.

I like the shape of that blade, but I don't know if I like it $300.00 worth.

It might not be the style, heck, it might not even be the alloy.

But when it comes to a Kizer, you can forget looking for flaws.
