I like the alloys, but yikes! A Rc rating of 71?

Just a few years ago, anything in the mid-60s might get conchoidal fracture.

Unconventionally handsome. I like it.

Yes, it is a striking design. I wish the blade width was a little beefier. Obvious we will use edged tools for slicing, and a wider blade will not wander, but make a straighter slice.

On this knife, that extra width might double the price. As a new design, it is remarkable.

On that note: I prefer the ruggedly handsome looks of the Shuffle II you brought up elsewhere, and not just for the money. Still though, if there's nothing stopping you from having more than one knife...

If I find any more boxes of knives I've forgotten about, I'll post the pictures.

It doesn't hurt for you to ask about availability or mention your price range.

I like the design of this knife, though I am preferring flippers these days.

The blade material simply states "Tungsten Carbide" so not comfortable with what that implies. Being a hardness of "71" is impressive if it does not imply 'Chippy' and it holds an edges longer. Which is not always the case.

Just because they CAN make it that hard, doesn't mean they should
Chuck43 and RustyIron like this.

FYI -- There is a review of this knife in the latest edition of Guns magazine

My wife bought a CPM-440V Boa. (That alloy is now known as S60V).

When I opened the box, there was conchoidal fracture on the edge. That was only like 62 Rc in those days.
