Suggestions?

So I've been reading this forum lately and I guess it's time for a new knife. My edc is a Buck 875 but after looking at pictures of all your automatics, I think I'd like to have one. I'm not in the market for a $300 blade but I'd love to hear some suggestions. Thanks in advance!

Boker has an interesting looking budget auto called the Kalashnikov 74. It comes in several blade styles and colors and cost $39.00 from Blade HQ website. I've been thinking about getting one for EDC. I'm hard on knives so I too hate carrying around a high dollar piece that is mainly used for tape and boxes. I have a Bear&Sons that I've using hard and I'm starting to have issues with the safety sticking … a slow auto isn't worth much.

Edit … saw the same Bokers on the site Chico posted … although BHQ was showing a lot more styles and colors.

Last month I bought a Buck 112 automatic for 150 bucks; really sweet, fast action, positive lock up and a great every day carry pocket piece. But, I gave it to my grandson who is also a collector of knives and it's now his EDC. I was looking all over the web for the buck 110 which is slightly bigger but it seems everybody has them back ordered or out of stock. So I'm gonna keep checking and order the 110 when I get a chance. Everybody knows how sweet Buck pocket folders are, well now they have a pushbutton.

I'm not hard on my pocket knives at all. I find they're only useful for cutting off pricetags or the occasional loose thread. I own a few fixed blade $100+ hunting knives but I've never thought of investing in a high end pocket knife. I got by for years with the crkt minimalist on my belt until the sheath snapped at the loop. I'd like to attempt to make my own kydex sheath for it one day. After it broke, I just started carrying whatever knife was lying around. These days I tend to rotate my buck and a Gerber eab razor knife. As a salesman who wears dress pants most days, a lightweight knife with a clip and comfortable in the hand is what I need.

My EDC is a Buck 110 auto. My favorite knife is a custom 110.

This looks like a smaller version of what I carry:

Smaller, lightweight, decent blade and a pocket clip too!

What I actually carry is:

Gerber 4660617A1

Not sure if you can buy exact one new but I found one at my local hardware store about 6 months ago NIB!
