Shoutout To Chico From Vickie

My "Orange Chico Boker" was delivered at 2:04pm today by UPS.
Chico, THANK YOU so much I love it. I understand you were lead by God to send it to me, I will Thank him to. I also understand you declined when Arland offered to pay you. Thank You for that also. We accept your act of kindness. I will always remember how and where the Boker came from.

Regards
Vickie

Dear Vickie, I appreciate the kind words from another Christian. It has been a tad busy in that regard. I had to offer a Memorare last night to a daughter and mother pair--and I'm SDA, not Catholic. We have no idea when stopping to buy a sandwich is actually a Divine appointment.

BTW, girl, you are now a client of Bada Bing Emporium. As such you get two amazing offers. One, you get all-you-can-eat-scorpion in Guadalajara on Saturday nights...

Two (and much less romantic) you now have "life sharp" on your Boker. It gets dull, you ship it back for another polished edge. Experience has taught me that additional polishes make the edge toastier and toastier!

I have a question. What was the hidden meaning of orange and black? A Harley? High school colors? A favorite sweater?--Chico

Harley! I got tired of riding with Arland, I took the motorcycle safety course (hardest thing I've ever done) he bought me a little Honda 750 (named it Little Red) then when he thought I was ready he gave me his Sliver 99' Road King Classic, he surprised me by having it custom painted with Wizard of Oz characters, The Tin Man is my favorite.
After our accident in 2013 we both stopped riding but didn't stop loving Harley's and the time we spent riding together.
Traded the 99' for the 2009 CVO Ultra Classic for Arland. That's me at Cherohala Skyway riding Arland's old 2003 Road King Classic, I was willing to trade in my custom paint cause the 2003 RK had cruise control. I guess that's enough history.

Oh, I forgot to mention one thing. Shrinkage!

Boker's are great knives, but they are not dishwasher safe! I made that mistake on the first Boker Kalshnikov 74 switchblade I owned!

I tried to get the dishwasher shut down during the rinse cycle, but I was too late. The once great knife was now just a shadow of its former self...

Vickie, I would be remiss if I didn't mention this. This entire thing was planned by Arland. He scoured the midwest, and then it became clear that the one and only one orange/black knife had been delivered to me mere days before. I think he needs a big hug--and his own toy.

As a biker, I'm sure he likes two things--danger and titanium.

I have something, and wouldn't you know it, there's only one!

If he's got a birthday coming up, or one of those magic times he always remembers (like his first time getting off for good behavior), we should celebrate that, too.

He has my phone number--steal it. I wish I could be there.

LOL. I think you did a solid. I remember about 20 years ago when I chased all over creation for a Beanie Baby my wife needed for her collection. It's what we do cause we love 'em.

So I'll take my little shrunken Boker, and wander off...

But, hey, I had a lot of fun!
