Personalized Boker Auto

When I got the "Orange" handled Boker I liked it. I thought the Auto Boker's might make good Christmas presents for my brother in law and grown step sons. On the Grindworx site when you place one in your cart there is a box to "Customize Your Knife" for $7.95. Before I buy for the family I thought I needed to buy one for myself to check the laser engraving and how it looks and how long it takes. I chose the gray Boker, my name and this years birthday. I think it turned out pretty slick, I ordered it late (11:30pm) Sunday night, it was in todays (Friday 3/29/19) mail. They do Free shipping over $49 bucks so I added the needle point oiler to make the cut. I can tell from the oil in the plastic bag the oiler came in is leaking a little bit. The button on mine is a little stiff but I added some CLP and it is getting better with every cycle.

This is just FYI in case you want something different or a gift for someone.

Oy, vey, that's a beautiful knife!

How will it live its life? In jeans or a glass case?

Did you call Joyce for some "Quick Release" oil? It's made for the activation buttons on switchblades.

Call Joyce at: 828-884-4302

Yes, the Boker personalized knife comes in a box that looks like a AK47 magazine.

Now you have to get the whole set. I would recommend the Boker with the clip point design, electro-plated with copper.

Yes, yes, it's needless decorative inclusion, but it sure will stutter-step the mugger that thinks he has you...

NOPE! That blade looks brown to me and I HATE green! I would NEVER buy that.

LOL, it's not that ugly in real life. In fact, that green handle is pretty standard on lots of their automatics.

There was a comeuppance. The pictures taken by Blade HQ look a lot like Joyce's choices. I saw the clip point, and I never owned a copper anything, so I bought it. I was embarrassed to find I bought it from Joyce's competitor.

True, the colors might be bizarre on a combat knife, but that knife is flawless, not a ding. It just sits there, unused.
