My New Buck 112 Auto

When Cucamonga posted the pics of his new 112, it really caught my attention. I even dug up my old 110 that I had forgotten about and now have it on my bench and am considering sending it to get a spa treatment at Buck.

I went to Lubbock a couple of weeks ago to cook Lamb Chops at a charity event and came across a really cool knife shop there. For some reason, there are no knife specialty shops like that that I have found, here in Houston. Well, they had both the 110 & 112 Autos in stock, so I bought a 112.... would have bought both but my buddy and I had our wives with us and they were closely watching over our wallets

Love everything about this knife and really can't add anything additional to what Cuca has already mentioned. There WILL be a 110 Auto in my future for sure but will prolly wait for Ms Tejun to take a trip out of town

Very cool; you are now on the cutting edge of automatic knives (pun intended)

With the recent restrictions in many states on automatic knives repealed I'm glad Buck jumped on the bandwagon so quickly. Their initial run sold out really fast and they are just now hitting all the dealers. I gave my 112 automatic to my grandson and ordered myself the 110.
Buck made the perfect knife even perfecter.

Problem with a knife at a BBQ is no one can see it. But wear that set of mammoth on a belt and there's some eye candy for all.

I used to EDC a 110 but not any more since I got my 110 auto. I have been very pleased with it.

I don't have an automatic yet, but I do have a Buck 112 "Finger Groove" model.

I prefer the 112 over the 110 for a couple of reasons. One, I don't manage to sit on a short knife sheath. Two, I like the front bolsters on the 112 better, they keep your hand from sliding up onto the blade. And three, you get all of those conveniences, but a knife with all the same alloys and brass of the bigger--and slipperier--Buck 110.
