The Sicilian Boy Scouts

I was cleaning my closet, looking for more room for knives, when I found a lump of old clothes. I was shocked to see that they were my old Sicilian Boy Scot uniforms I had on N. 36th Street in Milwaukee.

Then I felt something solid in one of the pockets! Yikes, it was my old Sicilian Boy Scout knife! It looked worse for wear.

So as I listened to the radio I got out a can of Mothers paste and stated cleaning. To my surprise, all of the chrome got brighter, and upon observation not one scratch or nick was present! I sharpened the main blade and the thing looked brand new!

I'm going to carry it, although I think The Sicilian Girl Scouts now carry this model...

I thought "image" was the first and last entry. What should I be using?

Coondog had her learning session today. She knows a dozen verbal commands and hand gestures.

Several folks here have taken the time to post step by step directions for posting pics. Do you need a dog cookie?

For some reason (and far too often) a picture on my wallpaper will not post to this forum. As you can see, sometimes it does work. Well, I have two full drawers of knives to sell, and I cannot make their pictures appear. Same camera, same computer.

If a mod knows why I cannot post these pictures, please tell me what is wrong...

Edit: It did it again! I just posted some pictures over at Preppers and they all look perfect and they popped up fast. I used to post pictures here, too, now it's not working.

We need a computer savvy mod on this!

No, we don't need a super savvy moderator on the forum to instruct you on how to do something on your personal computer. If the problem was something many forum members were experiencing then I would refer it up to powers above me. Your problems are confined to you and your computer, in other words, mistakes your making. I would suggest you enroll in a computer class at a local junior collage class or higher a computer geek (I make sure he was at least 12 years old) to teach you how to operate your computer.

Chuck, I'd buy your logic, that is, until my computer "cured" itself. The big picture on my wallpaper disappeared, and all of the posts I listed got to the right place.

We had to pick up my wife's new SUV, so I turned my computer completely off...

Occasionally like cellphones, computers have to be rebooted.

Obviously. The issue is that I was "going looking for an answer." Then once I found how to cure a glitch, I'd go back to posting.

We had to leave to go to the dealership, and I didn't know how long we would be gone, so I shut off the computer, and figured I'd just fix it when I got home.

Dimly, I remember the bad old days when even computer guys believed if you just shut off the system, the gremlins would disappear. I never would have guessed that idea still worked.
