Deejo Knives

Anyone besides the local knife nut seen these before? Looks interesting to me. Folder, you can customize it your way, 4" blade, very, very lightweight 3 sizes available, largest one is 37g or 1.3 ounces.
All the reviews I read were positive.
Google it, or click link I posted below.

@2sharp2, I had not heard of these folders, so I researched them. In a different way, they seem to be the "American stiletto."

They are designed to be minimalist, they look very sharp, and they can be pocketed in anything--the same things that make Sicilian stilettos popular.

...I might have to get some...

Interesting find, I could be tempted if it gets the Chico seal of approval.

I'm going to buy some even if tourist does not give them the seal of approval.
I've already decided they are good from all the sane reviews I've already found.

Now if your wanting a tactical knife to carry on your naked and afraid adventure and use it for cutting down trees, chopping firewood and things like that then the Deejo my not be for you.

Looks like a 420 Stainless variant. They are all over e-Bay for $55-65, including shipping, vs. the $75 + $8 shipping on the web site. Looks like the appeal is lightweight and the customization/personalization you can do.

...they had me at 'titanium...'

I've never really been a fan about the knives when they give the stats like "handle is 5.5 inches in length, blade 3.25."

I do like the minimalist design, as most guys have way too much random junk in their pockets. To that, it appears to the guys I've talked with when they even remove the pocket clips.

As a sharpener, I like the beautiful curve of the edge.

The price is very reasonable, I'm going to look for one in my area. I would like to study the pivot and/or locking design.

I admire the fact that the designer went his own way. I think it's going to sell!

Edit: I did look at a few blown-up pictures. I believe the "pivot" is a 'plunger lock.' That would make sense on a minimalist knife. And additionally, I took my knife sheath off months ago. I started carrying folders with minimalist pocket clips or ones without any clip.

Yeah, yeah, just because you can find something on e-bay or amazon don't mean you should buy it, I'm sure the $55 dollar Deejo's are the plain model, remember they come in three sizes and if I recall plain models are priced around $29.99.
Who wants to settle for a plain jane model? I don't, I think only 10 bucks extra for custom.

I don't know what "stats" tourist has been reading but from what I can see the large Deejo's (Blade) is 4 inches long not 3.25 or whatever he said. No need for him to study the design and approve. They are already "Selling" been on the market since at least 2018, I don't know why the self proclaimed knife expert didn't already know all about Deejo knives but and old novice had to introduce them to him.

@2sharp2, when I quoted stats I did not mean this folder. I meant the "average folder," with a knife that is over-handled and under-bladed. The Deejo folder uses a blade that appears to be the same length as the handle.

I love new designs and modern blade alloys. I just haven't seen one in my area.
