A.G. Russell knife, maybe worth eight bucks.

I was looking at this cheap little knife I own, and found out the alloy was VG-10, one of my favorite alloys for hard use knives.

The bevel cut perfectly for me, and I made the factory bevel a tad wider. As you know, that means the edge is finer. However, my life is worth the eight bucks if the knife gets broken or confiscated--eh, close enough.

I'll be polishing the edge and taking pictures this week. I suggest that all you blade-heads buy some really cheap knives and enjoy this segment of the hobby.

A polished cheap knife slices as good or better than a 400 dollar custom...

All I own is fairly cheap knives because I've been known, on many occasions, to misplace them..... so cheap is best for me! LOL!

"Cheap" can be quite subjective

Uh huh, right....... we can't wait.

(And I'm not so sure we'd put any Microtech into the "cheap" category there, Acme, and lovin' that Randall!.....)
