LOWERED PRICE! FOR SALE is a 1950's toy Fanner 50 cap gun and holster

FOR SALE is a 1950's toy Fanner 50 cap gun and holster in like new condition. See photos in this listing for condition of the items.

I had one like this when I was a kid but it was used quite a bit and got trashed in the late 60's. I always missed that toy and bought this setup many years ago. I never use them and only pull them out of the safe maybe once a year. As I'm getting ready to retire, I'm trying to make myself sell off items that I seldom/never use (which isn't going to well....LOL!).

The holster came to me with a used Fanner 50 which I sold off. I bought these two separately and paid a fair amount for them. The only real issue I know of is the gun has some flaking on the trigger guard and a slight bit on the lower edge of the spring looking thing under the barrel(see close up photo of the open door where the caps are inserted to see this). The holster looks very, very nice for its age. The gun box has an old price written in a grease pen and the holster box has a spot where a price sticker was pulled off (see photos).

Asking $350.00 for the set originally, REDUCED TO $250.00 as of today!! plus $25.00 shipping to the lower 48 states with no returns so ask any questions before offering to buy. Only listed on KIMBER TALK at this time. I really hate to even think of listing on Ebay due to their weird rules....even for toy cap guns (Yeah, a permanently affixed orange plug on barrell a cap gun!!).

Condition as is pictured! Ask any questions before you offer to buy. USPS Money Order only as payment.

First “I’ll take them” with a follow up PM get the item(s).

I wore my original set out. I wish I'd kept the set but it was very sad looking. I will not get rid of my Hubley Rifleman cap rifle that my Grandmother bought me for my 8th birthday 58 years ago. She passed away shortly thereafter.

My brother and I both had these. We also had a full compliment of the Nickols cap guns; running the full range from double 6-shooters with holster rigs to the derringers to my lever-action carbine (of which I have never seen another).
Sadly my mom decided to "get rid of all that old stuff" when my brother and I left home. She cleaned out the attic and gave away all of those treasures.
20/20 hindsight........

Yeah, I'm going to keep my Hubley Rifleman cap rifle that my Grandmother and Grandfather bought me for my 8th birthday (just before she died). It's in my safe along with my Daisey BB gun and these FANNER 50 items. I may pull these ads soon since I was looking at receipts for what I paid compared to what I'm asking, I probably should just keep them for when my estate sale happens.....LOL!

I hate to put them on Ebay where I could probably get closer to what I have in them but I hear Ebay is not seller friendly as it used to be and the fact that they want you to "permanently affix an orange plug in the end of the barrel" and I have seen some state that it cannot be made to fire bullets!! This PC ness and BS disclaimers is really Kalifornia dumb IMO!
