This is the good stuff.

As you know by now, my wife and I got ourselves into a bind. Not only do we owe dental bills, but our heater crapped out. We're good savers, and most of this is covered, but the size of the bills came out of nowhere.

I also sell higher end knives, and I've decided that it's time for them to go. I turn every red cent over to my wife, but now is the time to step up.

The only knife in that bunch that is not for sale is the yellow handled knife at the extreme left. The three brown ones are the best.

Two of them are switchblades, but I only have a Wisconsin license, so if you live down the street we're good. Otherwise I cannot ship them across a straight line--and starting very recently, UPS wants to know what's in each box, and takes my signature.

We're not starving, but we're going to be as cash poor as when we first started dating. Not all are polished or need to be, but they all have to go.

The picture is nice but a list of what's in the box and an asking price to go with it would be nicer.
2sharp2, JC45 and oldognewtrick like this.

I haven't had the time to figure that out. The pounding and sawing in the lower level has everyone a little jittery.

Basically, the two smaller knives are Mantis knives, both polished.
The curved knife is a TOPS C.U.T. 4.0
The three brown knives are Kizers, factory edges.
The two next to them with black blades are TOPS Mil-Spie 3.5T
The next one is an Emerson Protech Tuxedo
The last one is a Cocobolo Whaler.
The small one at the top is Bradford 3v fixed blade
The top right one is a Protech automatic.

As for pricing, I will negotiate.

I only have a Wisconsin license. Those two will go quickly to locals.

But you're in Florida, that's the home of Microtech. Can't you buy them locally?

If not talk to Josh at PVK.Vegas. His whole company is automatic knives.

Sure. I have a few Microtechs. I also have some Buck autos, Lone Wolf autos and Kershaw autos.

I don't understand, do you need a special license to ship automatic knives outside of Wisconsin? If so, how were you able to return mine after you straightened the edge and polished it?

Because I did not sell it to you.

I have four exemptions. I can sell to a soldier, I can sell to a one armed man, I can sell to a policemen with his superior's approval and I can transport a switchblade as part of my job. (Things like, repair, deliver, etc.)

Then it gets murky.

Last year Governor Walker made switchblades legal in Wisconsin. I believe ATKI claims that 35 states can now carry, sell and use switchblade knives. I do not have a list of the states that do or don't.

There are so many switchblade dealers now--and I want to retire--that it seems foolish to make a mistake now and possibly commit a crime.

BTW, our UPS hub makes me sign verifying the contents of each box. This is new, and the first time I ever heard of this is when I sent out the first Barge.
