Just a member now.

As of today, I filled my last order and my sales license is about to elapse. I will be fully retired.

The nice thing is I can fully jump into debates! I no longer have a business and/or a persona to protect.

I like knives, but I must admit, watching that last shipment go was like being released from jail!

I have run a small business on the side for about 15 years now. I love the stuff but it's work no question about it. Enjoy your retirement!

@KCJeep, I have two drawers full of mostly automatic knives, and I assume that there are some that are no longer made. What I would like to find is a younger guy who wants to start his knife business, especially if he wishes to sell both new and like-new older knives to collectors.

Hey, I'm an eyelash away from my 70th birthday, I'm tired of working.

Actually I don't care if this forum discussed guns, knives or clog-dancing. As I have learned over decades of exchanges, it's the people I meet on the computer no matter what the hobbyist forum is discussed.

I got frustrated over the last few days and deleted a lot of sites.

I can relate to the 'retirement' thing too.

I worked an engineering/fabricating job for 45 years, along with my wife who was the PA for a certain bullet manufacturer here. For a full ten years we marketed and sold my patented BR Pivot precision rotating shooting bench from our home.

Two full-time jobs, plus running our mail order company in the evenings. When we got an offer to sell the patent, rights and inventory, we jumped on it!

Now at 73, I can relax, go shooting, cruise the outback, do whatever I want, whenever I want. It's called retirement, and I highly recommend it!

Rick, I had a bizarre and nerve racking job for the evil prince of all corporate owners. Here's a sample, the owner said to me, "Hey, Tourist, you carry, right? Well take my wife shopping in Milwaukee..."

Now, I was a credit manager, not a body guard...

When a job opened in my little burg I applied for the job without asking how much it paid, if I got free parking or even if I could eat on the job. I think every employee should have a deranged boss once in their life time.

That didn't work out well for Vincent Vega when Marcellus Wallace told him to take his wife out dancing.

Marshall....I don't post personal gun pictures on KT or any site, for any reason. Never have/never will. Taking IP risk is for those that choose to do so, I don't. If you have a problem with that, choose a orifice. End of subject.

I retired on 12/31/1999 and still have yet to have a day off, there's always something that needs doing.
