Hi, just signed up because, alas, I need to sell my Kimber to raise some funds. I hate to part with it, but have no choice. It is a Kimber Ultra CPD II. It is in great shape, about 300 rounds through it. Comes with 2 magazines but unfortunately I have not located the case and box.

Can someone give me advice on what a fair price is? Also, I have never sold anything on this forum, should I expect any issues with that? I have never sold a firearm online before so any advice is appreciated.

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois Clay. Most people joining the forum to sell something have very little luck. It's only after they've been an active member for awhile will the odds of them making a sale go up.

I understand. I have bought and sold a bunch of stuff online, mainly camera gear and RC stuff and have a very good reputation there. Can anyone give me some advice on the best way to sell it, and more importantly, what is a fair price for a quick sell?

I would try listing it on Armslist's website.

I agree with Chuck. Welcome to the site from Tennessee!

Price? Hard to say without pics. I assume it is .45acp? I feel it would be important to a potential buyer for you to find the Kimber case and paperwork or I would subtract 50 to 75 dollars from what you think it is worth.

Four years ago I paid $975 for a CDP Ultra but I knew and trusted the person I bought it from and believed it had only about 25 rounds fired.

Your mileage may vary according to condition.

Thanks. it is 45acp. I went ahead and posted it. with a picture. Asking $850, that is what I need. Not having the case is an issue, maybe it is in the attic. Need to get this sold but I understand suspicion. If it were a local sale, Little Rock, I am sure I could put the buyer at ease. We will see. Thanks for the help.
