Dipping my toes into Lake Kimber

Greetings. I'm new to this forum and am about twelve hours from popping on my first Kimber. I'm not really a brand guy. I have long guns and handguns from many different makers. This will be my first Kimber. And boy did I pick the wrong time to jump in. My Beretta px4 is dedicated for home defense, and needed a ccw. The wife just grabbed a P238, so I wanted something a little different. Along comes the micro. Micro 9s are just becoming available out here in western NY, and mine just came in. I have lots of questions, so look for me in other posts. (Is that the right word?)

Welcome to KT from central FL! Ive had my micro 9 since the end of June. Love it! Only issue I've had is a possible extractor adjustment being needed. Otherwise, shoots and carries great!

Great bunch of guys here and a few of us girls. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly! Be sure to post pics and a range report as soon as you can!

Welcome to KT Buffalo boy. Those Micro 9s seem to be getting great reviews from everyone here. I'm guessing your going to be liking yours too. Be sure to post up some pics with the range report :-)

Bufallo boy, welcome to the site from Tennessee. Before your first range session, break down, clean, lube well (extra lube more than you think) use 147gr FMJ ammo and shoot like you stole it.

Most all the members here own, shoot and love all types of weapons but really love our Kimber's.

Oops. My reply just got launched into neverland and I'm too tired to start over. High points are:
1. Thanks for the warm welcome.
2. Thought I ordered stainless. Got two tone. We'll have to see if it comes home with me.
