Hello from Tampa

I've never owned or even fired a Kimber, but I handled several at a recent gunshow. They are very nice, they seem very refined and smoother than a Glock or Walther. Only my Beretta and Hi-Power come close.

Now which one to choose???

Hey ChuckM, welcome to the site from Tennessee! Which Kimber to chose kind of depends on what you plan on doing with it. You know range only, range and self defense, etc. Don't know of a bad one so there is several to chose from. Good luck. Oh, we can help you spend money.

I have spent (wasted) the ENTIRE day on the Kimber and other sites looking at candy. If I buy a Kimber it'll be for concealed carry. I carry a G36 now, and enjoy my G34 at the range. I have a retired LEO friend who suggests the 4in barrel over the 3, and I would likely want the shorter gripped Compact over the Pro. I like the added checkering of the CDP but I don't want the ambi-safety.
