Talking New Kimber Owner from Arizona

Hey Folks. Just picked up the Kimber Micro Carry Stainless Raptor. First Kimber, plan to take it to the range tomorrow. Any advice? Any suggestions on a good pocket holster? both front pocket and back pocket? Attached is a picture cause I can't stop showing this beauty off!

Congratulations, your Micro Raptor looks great. Clean your gun before you shoot it, add a little extra lube. I would stick with round nose ammo for the break in period.

Again, welcome to the forum Vudewman, with a little practice thumbing off the safety will become second nature.

Cool Hey Ya'll!!!

Welcome to the forum from beautiful downtown Monroe,
Georgia!!!

Congrats on the new Micro Carry Raptor. I am fond of all things Raptor!!
You have cleaned and lubed your pistol. Now be sure to use Kimber recommended FMJ ammo to break it in. Please provide a range report to let us know how that first range session goes!! Lookin' forward to it.

As for disengaging the thumb safety, I highly recommend doing so as the pistol comes to bear on your target. Removing the safety as you draw the pistol from your holster/cover is dangerous!!! Not a good habit to get in!! I'm just sayin'...........

Disengage ONLY when pointed in a safe direction or at your target!!!
