Hello, I'm Phil from Detroit area. Just got my first Kimber last week, a .380 micro. My brother and good friend both have Kimber .45's and have been happy with the quality. This is my first pistol this small, and my first experience with the .380 round, so far I'm pleased.

Looking forward to having some good conversation, and learning more first hand about the Kimber brand from knowledgeable people.

---Phil

Welcome from So.Cal. I like those micro .380's and the Micro 9's just waiting for someone to bring one into CA. and sell it at a fair price rather than 300 to 500 above list. Just because they are off roster. Hell almost everything is off roster anyway. It is not exactly rare. Sorry got a little off point there for a moment. Welcome to the forum clean lube and shoot. While you are practicing with that one you can be thinking about the next Kimber you are going to buy they are addicting!

Tom is right, it won't be your only Kimber! Also, take his advice, clean & lube well before range time. Good luck with it & keep us updated.

Ps, I'm a former Michigander. Went to UM Ann Arbor.
