New From Central Tx

Old school paper puncher.

International pistol, Bulseye, IHMSA, USPSA, GSSF Glock matches etc.

Been shooting since dad taught me instinctive shooting with the old daisy with no sights back in the late 60's.

Just bought a K6s and had some trigger issues to research and found this site.

I Carry a 340 PD without fail in a Mika pocket holster either as primary or backup to G41 or G21 or G19 (among others) depending on attire etc.

The K6s is a great revolver and it will eventually (I hope) make the the above list. Right now treating it like a no dash 686 that has not had the primer flow/bushing issue resolved ("M" stamp).

Hey Ya'll!!!

Hey Wedgie, welcome to KT from beautiful downtown Monroe, Georgia!!!
Monroe City Limits (1).JPG

Congrats on the new K6s. Lots of those being sold these days. What exactly is the trigger issue with your K6? Have you contacted Kimber Customer Service yet? Be sure to give them a call (sometimes it takes a while for them to answer) they will be happy to help you out. If your revolver needs to be sent back, they will take care of that and when you get it back, I guarantee that it will function up to your expectations, maybe even better!!

Interesting treatment to the grips of you S&W J-frame guns. Not very pretty, but I can surely see how that tape treatment could be of major advantage in handling. For self defense, function surpasses looks on all levels. If you can find a set up that meets both criterion so much the better. If faced with the choice of one or the other, function wins out every time!!

One of my EDC rotation is a S&W Model 637 5 shot .38 Spl.
S&W M-637-2 (1).JPG

I'm an old wheel gun man from way back. Lots of ammo burned up putting holes in paper and dents in steel!!
