New to Kimber with new Micro 9

We all know how it goes (and we still do it), just stopped by the gun shop yesterday to look and maybe handle a new sub compact to compliment a EDC and somehow there was a new Micro 9 in my hand when I left...

I was thinking of a different mfg but the shop guy said have you looked at the kimber, so I did, end of story.

a nice little black and tan with crimson trace laser grips

took it to the range today and was pretty happy with the results. Put close to 100 rnds, 50 each of WWB and Blazer, I know its cheap ammo but it went through with no failures

I will have to get used to it though, its less than half the wt I'm used to

forgot to say I am in middle TN

Welcome from AL. Hubby has a Micro 9 and after getting used to it's small size (he has large hands) love it. I ditto the idea that, somehow, one is just not enough. They do have a tendency to multiply! Would love to see some pics.

Rblair, welcome to the site from Chattanooga. Congrats on your new Micro9. I like the OTF "Blade."

Hey, Cnut.
What are your initial impressions of the StealthGear?

I'm a fan of real leather holsters, but recently I picked up an SG for my HK. I've only worn it a few times, but so far I think I like it. The backer material is soft, without being abrasive, and it does allow a little airflow. It holds the gun nicely, and stays were I put it. If I had to pick a negative trait, it would be that the opening closes up a bit, requiring deliberate and precise reholstering. So far so good, though, and I'm pleased with the purchase.
