Newbie to the forum but not to Kimber

Hey all. New forum member from the Buckeye state. My recent woes with my new to me Solo prompted me to come here looking for answers. Multiple fte and slide locking open on those rounds that it did eject. Using Remington ball ammo that works fine in my Ultra Aegis II. After reading some I think I know why I was able to buy it for a song and I can't sing. I have some Winchester white box and some Seiler Belloit to try next befor I make a decision on it's life with it's four other brothers. I would be thankful for any help given. D*

Hi and welcome from AL. I'm not a Solo owner but there are plenty here who can give good info and advice on that subject! Hope you stick around even after you get some info on the Solo.

Welcome to the site from Tennessee. Sorry about your Solo, I don't own one so I'm going to leave it at that.

Welcome to KT from St Lou. I will sum up what you may hear on your issues with your Solo.

Send it back to Yonkers and they will get it working for you.

Looks great, but don't trust it with your life.

Mine has been great from the factory/ Mine has had issues from day one.

Only shoot 124gr premium ammo/ Works with 115gr white box....

Okay, you get my drift ? Many of us on KT have had or currently have a Solo and many have had issues while others haven't had any. I have had two of them and both were sent back to Yonkers for a tune-up and they both came back functioning great. Others have sent theirs back and the problems were still there when it arrived back to them.

If your issues persist send it back and hopefully yours will be one of the good ending stories......Good luck and keep us posted.

Welcome from Northeast, Pa. I’m not a Solo owner but good luck with yours. From what I read around here I would say save your ammo and send the gun to Kimber.
