Kimber Micro 9ís

Hi guys. Iíve been a member for about a year but live in rural Oklahoma and rarely have WiFi access that allows me to be on here much. I am relatively new to owning a gun but have enjoyed learning how to handle and shoot my Kimbers. Iím currently not working but stay busy with my grands. As I am alone a lot, learning to shoot my Kimber has given me a measure of feeling safer. I have 2 micro 9ís a bel air that I carry and a micro9 violet. Iíve enjoyed both but for personal reasons am thinking about selling them and purchasing a different Kimber. The violet has only had about 400 rounds through it with the Belair having a little over a 1000 rounds through it. Wondering what would be the best method to sell or trade. If I list them here Iím not sure when I can get on to check or respond. Which forum or site would be best to list them on? Hoping my WiFi improves so I can be on here more often. Find lots of good info when Iím able to stay on the site.

What about taking them to your LGS and trade them in. Most gun shops I visit usually have a selection of used ones sitting on the shelf.

I had thought about that but was not sure if I would be able to get what they are worth. Will probably try that. Thanks

ArmsList is a decent site. I check it almost daily;

Do you have an LGS that would take them on consignment?

Welcome to KT from St Louis.

I would do what Tejun suggested and use the Armslist in your neck of the woods. Your local gun shop will not give you what they're worth because they have to make a profit also.

Here's the link to the Oklahoma Armslist.

Thanks Marshal. I will check out that site. Closest gun shop is about 70 miles.

Selling two Kimber's does not compute with me. lol. Sparks, gun shop, pawn shop, consignment none of that will get you a fair price for your Micro9's. I don't know about Oklahoma law but you might could do a personal sale to a legal gun owner at a gun show. If you are 70 miles one way from a gun shop, wow you are rural.
Armslist could work but I would only do face to face transaction and you'll probably have to drive a ways to meet buyer.
Even if you can stay online and buy pistol then it's a long drive to FFL to do transfer.
