New K6s trigger won't pull

Hello folks! I'm new to the forum. Last month I purchased a new K6s CDR. The first time I took it to the range BEFORE I fired it the trigger would not pull.
(I did dry fire it a few times before with no problems.) I released the cylinder and closed it. Tried again and it fired. I had no other problems that night after shooting 50 rounds through it. The next time I went to the range (last Thursday) I put about 36 rounds through it and the trigger jammed. Then.... it would pull but the cylinder would not turn. I released the cylinder to check things out. Tried closing it and it would not close. I took it back to where I purchased it and they are sending it back to Kimber for inspection and repair. Has anybody else had problems with the revolver? I read there was a recall for some screws that did not have Loctite on them. Not sure if this is true or not. I'm kinda bummed. All I want is a trust worthy revolver. I thought that I had purchased it. Not so sure now....

Rcard, welcome to the site from Tennessee. I don't own a K6S so I wont comment.

Pre lock Smith's still going strong after decades of use.

Sorry to hear your troubles. I looked at a K6S and a S&W 686. The S&W won out on that one. There's just something about the K6S......

Anyway, hope they take care of you.
