New Member & Kimber Owner

I joined this forum over the weekend, after purchasing a Kimber Micro .380 two-tone while Bass Pro had them on sale. After cleaning and lube, I put the first rounds on paper, and that's when I discovered it doesn't reliably feed flat nose ammo. It needs break-in, of course, and I'll switch ammo, but I'm going to enjoy that little rascal.

As for me, I'm a lifelong hunter and shooter, live in the upper Midwest during the summer, and south Texas in winter, and have concealed carried for nearly 50 years. I'm looking forward to learning from your experiences!

Hey, welcome to the forum. Just got online and noticed your posting. I am one of the Tennesseans that is on here. We have found out that my wife's Kimber Micro Carry 380 really loves the American Eagle brand for some reason. She qualified with it just after we got it. I was in the next group to shoot and was worried that she would have a miss fire or something...all 50 rounds went down range. I changed out the spring a month or so ago...no problems with it. I love to shoot it, a great pistol.

Welcome from NC!

I don't have a Micro 380, but I have a S&W Bodyguard 380 that doesn't like flat nose or JHP ammo. For carry purposes I use Hornady Critical Defense, which it feeds fine.

Enjoy the pistol!

Thank you. Hornady CD is my carry round on all my handguns, so I'll grab a box and see how the Micro digests them.

Thank you. I use American Eagle in my wheel guns for steel and paper, so we'll see how the Micro likes them.
