Kimber Micro 9 magazine problem

I recently bought 2 Micro 9s both with crimson trace lasers and extended magazines. I have a problem with the top round in the loaded magazine working it's way partly out and coming completely out of the magazine when I eject the full mag. It doesn't happen very often and I cant seem to duplicate on a regular basis when it happens. Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois robowop1943. I'm not a Micro 9 owner but I'm sure one of them will be along shortly to help you with your problem.

Have both the kimber micro p and the sig p938 , both do it but it gets better as the gun and mags brake in. It wont have any affect on performance.

Mine also has done that, however it only does it after chambering a round then dropping the mag. If I leave the mag in and keep shooting it feeds all 7 rounds without any problems so I don't worry about it.

but, assume you want to "top off" your carry pistol, it's a problem.

I've had two pocket pistols that exhibited the same behavior: a Solo that did it a lot, and a P938 that would do it on occasion. Both problems solved themselves after breaking them in a little bit.
