Angry Micro 9 Magazine Dropping

Hi ,
My name is Roger and I recentley purchased a pre-owned Kimber Micro 9 that came with 2 magazines. One magazine works perfect the other as soon as I let off 1 round it drops out about a half inch and will not fire due to not feeding next round.I ordered a brand new Kimber magazine for it and it does the same thing. The one magazine that works looks identical to the 2 others. They are 7 round magazines. Anybody have a clue. I had my gunsmith look at the pistol and he said the mag release looked fine. I am ready to trade back in on something if I can't figure out. Any help would be great.

Welcome from Northeast, Pa Roger.

I recently bought a Dan Wesson Vigil Commander 9mm and I have one magazine from Joe’s Mag Mania that this gun just doesn’t like. It works in my Kimber and my Springfield. It’s exactly the same as the other 9mm mags from Joe’s but it doesn’t like this particular one so I marked it and I don’t use it in this gun anymore.

Welcome to the forum from northern Illinois Roger. I'd suggest you contact Kimbers Customer Service and yes I saw that the Micro 9 is pre-owned. Kimbers customer service is known for 2 things, (1) they will go way beyond their written warranty and (2) many times they don't care if you purchased the gun new or used. In the past they required you to register your purchase for your warranty but they stopped doing that so they have no idea if you got it a new or used.

I learned to wrap my pinky around the bottom of the 7 shot magazines.
