Old, New guy from NJ

Have several different brand revolvers and always found it easy
to remove cylinder for cleaning.

But I have not been able to figure out how to remove this one
any help appreciated.

Bill2809, welcome to the site from Tennessee!

We are going to need more information about which revolver you are trying to work on. K6S? Maybe since you joined Kimber Talk?

Welcome from WVa … glad to see you were able to get a message out. We are assuming you are dealing with a K6. I can't help with disassembly of that cylinder.

But I am just curious really … why do you feel the need to remove the cylinder just to clean or lube it ? Other than removing a S&W cylinder to add shims to tighten up end play, I've never removed a revolver cylinder.

Sorry Kimber K6S DCR 357
Guess I'm a little spoiled have several Ruger GP100's and SP101's and super simple to disassemble, including cylinder removal for easy cleaning.

Bought my Kimber because I really like the look, & fact that for a compact CCW it holds 6.
