Welcome to the forum from Northern Illinois David. The best thing you can do is to follow the instructions in your owners manual. Clean and lube your Tactical Custom HD II before taking it out for the first time and use the recommended ammo to break it in.

Welcome from the Midwest. Chuck is correct follow the instruction manual for cleaning and the break in period. You will enjoy it once all is complete.
