Greetings from NE Washington State

Just signed up on this site but have owned my Kimber Ultra Carry II since 2001. I just recently purchased a SIG P938 and have gotten a lot of information off of the Sig Talk site so I wanted to get signed up over here. I was at the LGR to get familiar with the P938 and was remained just how great our Kimber' s really are! I ran about 200 rounds through the P938 and it preformed well with no FTF or FTE but I need more time with it as it's smaller than my Ultra Carry. I really didn't get a good grouping with it either. I know it's going to take some getting used to but it functions like my other 1911's so it shouldn't be a problem. Then I picked up and shot my Kimber and that's when I realized I was smiling. Man, nothing else performs like a Kimber. Compared to the P938, the trigger on my Kimber Ultra was like a hot knife through butter and the accuracy is right on target. It's the first time I've shot it since I had TruGlo TFO sights installed on it about a month ago and it felt perfect in my hands. It is by far the most accurate handgun I own. That's why I registered for this forum so I can follow everyone who really appreciates what we all known is one of the finest handguns on the market today. I look forward to following this site daily, since I'm now retired and now have the time to fire up the reloader and get back to shooting more.

Welcome from Big Sky Country. Also I have a 938 AG and it's a great deep concealment weapon.

Welcome from Northeast, Pa. We obviously all like Kimber's but we all have guns from different manufacturers. Not much brand trashing on KT.

Welcome to KT, Dragonwing.

You sound like a Kimber fan-boy. Relax, you're among friends and other fan-boys/girls. Yep, we actually have a few ladies in our midst and they fit right in. I'm sure you will, too.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I forgot to add my signature and if I did it right you will see I have a number of handguns (plus several long guns and collectors), and enjoy them all. I purchased the SIG because it is known as being a top quality firearm and I was looking for a "pocket" EDC in 9mm. I didn't know at the time that Kimber is now making one as well. I just saw one last week but thought it was a .380 and was surprised to see it was a 9mm. I guess if I'd joined this site earlier I would have known that. I do really like the SIG, I just have to get used to the smaller size.
