New Kimber Owner from Texas

Hubby just recently got his LTC in Texas. He had been going to the gun range to practice since he had not shot in 30 years. So naturally I had to get a handgun too. His Colt .357 magnum was a little heavy, I thought. We bought me a Kimber Micro Sapphire 380. I am just a beginner, I shot my Dad's pellet pistol as a kid, oh and my cap pistols, LOL but that's it. I am also a retired 69 y.o female, now who learns to shoot a handgun at that age!!!
We have been to the gun range a couple of times with his Colt revolvers and just this week took my Kimber. It shot 50 rounds with -0- issues even with me seemingly fiddling with the loading of the ammo in the magazine. I love the Kimber, I do have to say when I read the issues with it on here, I get concerned but I am not going to think about it until I have some.
When I get good consistant patterns on my gun range targets, I might try to qualify for my LTC, IDK.

Howdy from SETX! Couple of years ago I contracted an 83 yr old sweet lady on a new vehicle and while going thru her paperwork I saw her chl, l asked her if she was packing and she pointed at her purse and said "I sure am and l take it places I'm not suppose to." She cracked me up! I congratulate you on your new Micro Saphire and hope you continue on and get your license to carry. Welcome to the forum!
