New from south carolina

Hi there! Just for my Kimber solo dc a couple of weeks ago. A little apprehensive because of all the not so great reviews, but my Hubbys friends swears by theirs so I decided to get one for my upcoming CCW class. I am new to pistols, and have been putting in quite a bit of range time. So far about 300 rounds through her and she is doing well!

Welcome from Oklahoma. My Solo DC was perfect out of the box and is a joy to shoot.
Most the " horror" stories on the Solo are based on when they first came out and I think Kimber has got the bugs worked out of it now.
My wife has a Kimber Micro but likes the way my Solo handles and feels better, definitely the trigger pull.

No offense, but teaching your wife or girlfriend to have a gun and shoot is very tricky indeed, I applaud your courage. Isn't it enough that in the kitchen they have ready access to knives? Whats next? Letting them drive while you sit in the passenger seat....................

My wife is a better shot than I am and when we first married she let me know in no uncertain terms what would happen to me if ever I were to be unfaithful.
Well, we've been married 43 years now and I never even considered straying.
Don't know, but her being a damn good shot could have helped contribute to our marriage fidelity.
So yes, teaching your wife to shoot could help improve you chances of a long and happy marriage.
