Might be rust

On the feed ramp of my Custom 11 I noticed what looks like rust on the middle of my feed ramp. I have tried to clean but it won't come off. It is smooth and not pitting. Could this be brass imbedded? Anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

I would bet it's just residue from the bullet, not rust.

If it bothers you, GENTLY use Nevr-Dull or whitening toothpaste on a very soft rag, like a micro-fiber.

Use asymmetric circles as you work.
