Drink time- an interesting week

A lot happened this week. A terrible week for Orlando.

Time for a drink. I think some scotch tonight

Plus, I figured I may as well buy some more AR mags while they can be found for cheap, so i took care of that.

There''s a gun show tomorrow, and I might tale a ride over to see the feeding frenzy.

Wish I could join you but we're supposed to go out for dinner with friends, so I'm staying dry.

I will toast all the Kimber Clan with a shot of Patron and a Corona! It has been a tough time in Florida and the U.S.

Hey, G.
I'm honing my "old school" bartending skills tonight. You know--mixing drinks in the authentic, vintage style of years past. Being a fan of bourbon and whiskey, tonight I'm playing with Old Fashioned's. I have an orange I poached out of an orchard, some organic tangerines, home grown lemons, and the usual stuff.

The one I'm sipping now is a little more lemony, and I went wild with the cranberry bitters. It seems I've found the sweet spot, but it might just be that this is the third one and my palate is dulled. This might be a terrible mix if my senses were sharper.

Have fun at the gun show tomorrow. Tomorrow, the ten day waiting period is over on my new HK. I've already shot it to qualify, and I think it will be a sweet addition to the arsenal.
