Let's see pictures of your motorcyles!

One of my other passions, at least while I was still healthy enough to enjoy them is motorcycles.

I rode mostly dirt bikes and raced motocross on and off until I was in my 50's. I then turned to restoring vintage 2-stroke street bikes and had great fun riding my '75 Yamaha RD350 and '73 Kawasaki 350 S2A. When I finally realized they were too small for my 6'3" frame, I sold them both for what I called my "Naked Italian Chick".

I bought a new 2012 Aprilia Shiver 750, knowing my riding days were about to end. I feel fortunate to have ridden the snot of her for 2 full seasons. What an incredible machine!

Unless the Good Lord restores the use of my legs, this is the last motorcycle I will have ever ridden:

Let's see your bike(s)!

No more bikes for me for awhile, but here were a couple of mine.

Thought I had couple others of a '87 Suzuki Cavalcade rebuild, but cant find it.

Current bike which I've owned since 2011: 2001 HD Softail

Softail 06.jpg

After this picture was taken I replaced the seat and mirrors, added highway pegs, and replaced all lights with LEDs.

Previous bikes were '96 Honda Shadow Ace 1100, '83 Yamaha SECA 750R, and a '79 Yamaha XS750 triple.

My wife and I.

My wife and I riding in Yellowstone 2010.
My Dad and I riding in our home town 1964. On a Honda 90 that belonged to my brother. I use to sneak it out and ride around town before I had a license.

Currently I ride a 2012 R1200R:

Now that the missus will hopefully get her license in the next few days or weeks she will ride it and well probably get an R1200RS for me. I also like the GS (in "triple black") a lot, would probably be suited better to my 6'3", but its even more expensive than the RS. Ill try some different seats on the RS and then decide.
