No campus carry in Ga...except Tasers.

Since I have a daughter on a Georgia campus I might look into this for her.

GeorgiaCarry.org is trying hard to change that.

Taser is better than nothing, but it still requires close proximity, which I find unacceptable.

1. recently attended US Law Shield seminar and learned about GeorgiaCarry.org, and I am now a member because the speakers that night said a lot of changes in GA gun laws have come about because of this organization.

2. this particular laser has an air cartridge that can shoot out two pronged wires up to 20 feet. That's what I liked about it, so you don't have to actually come into contact with a perp. Don't like that about a knife either.

Just sad that we have to worry about all this kind of stuff.

clapping.gif Good for you. I've been a member of GCO for quite a while. It was a GCO meeting that introduced me to US LawShield. We are now card carrying US LawShield members.

I like your choice of laser. Didn't know that type was available to civilians. Daughter going to KSU? That is where my daughter graduated and I also received an Associate Degree there back before it was a university.

.
Yes, I signed my husband and myself up for US Law Shield that night too. It was something that I had been thinking about doing and they had a special deal that night. We've got our cards too, kind of takes some of the worry out of carrying. They ran a good class too, both speakers were very good. Can't beat the price and they had take home material that reviewed what they covered. Took my daughter with me too and she really enjoyed it...said they kept her attention the full 2 hours. I took a Georgia Gun Law class at the range that cost a lot more than this and wasn't as good.
