Best Salsa

Dayum, this is some good stuff. 24hrs in the crock pot, tomatoes, onion, hot peppers, Jalapenos, Garlic. This is batch 2 of 2.

Pizza with homemade smoked sausages on sourdough pizza crust is up next.

And I still have tomatoes left. For the freezer I'll start some Venison chili later today.

The Pizza dough is rising nicely. I was out of salsa and tomato sauce doesn't do it. Going to be having a nice evening meal in a few hours.

Ever try cooking pizza on a Big Green Egg or any Kamado grill? You can get them up to over 600-700 degrees and the pizza will cook in a few minutes. Nice crispy tender crust. It does cook a lot of other things, but my favorite is the pizza, and it makes a damn good prime rib roast!

I wasn't home much this summer so I didn't plant a veggie garden. Sure do miss having all those delicious tomatoes and veggies, can't get that same taste from a grocery store.

Looks like you are having fun and will be well stock for the winter.

Venison Chili is still slow cooking, ETA sometime tomorrow morning. Free produce along with homemade ingredients is the best.
