I was a little young in the 50's, but I remember all that stuff. I'm not sure Flip Wilson was a 50's thing though.

You're right Gmountain...
He was born in 1933 and didn't start performing until the mid 60's and gained popularity in the 70's...

I remember most of that stuff too. I was too young to remember Truman and I didn't pay attention to the Rosebergs.

As a kid I liked learning how to identify a car's manufacture/model/year just by sight. Cars had style back then.

I thought this was going to be a reference to you bringing the T-bucket to the Back to the 50's car show in MN June 20-22! Second largest car show in the country. Saturday will be 25 years to the day since I graduated from high school. My exposure to the 50's has been through the classic car hobby and via T.V. reruns.

I couldn't agree more with you Gary, back then cars had individual style today you can't tell one from the other, they all look like pregnant roller skates.
