TruGlo Brite-Site fiber sights

Anyone using the TruGlo Brite-Site? I just ordered these for my TLE. Thinking about putting the red fiber on front and leaving the tritium night sights as they are, on the rear. Hopefully the front will be a snug fit (current front sight will not stay in place) and I've been wanting to try the fiber front sight for a while. Hoping it will be more visible indoors than the night sight is.

I don't have that sight on anything but I think it will work real nice on your pistol.

I recently put some Tru-Glo's on one of my guns. I forget the model, but they're the ones with fiberoptics AND tritium.

The tritium behaves as you would expect. In dim light, the fiberoptics seem to be a little bit better than a generic white dot. But where they kick ass is in bright sunlight. I didn't realize there was a problem until after I tested the fiberoptics. But think about shooting in sunlight. It's bright out. Your target is bright. Your generic sights are dark, with makes them hard to see, and a little longer to pick up with your eyes as you raise the gun onto target. But with fiberoptics, under an open sky, those sights BLAZE. I think in daylight is were fiberoptics really shine. "Shine?" See what I did there?

I think you'll like the new sights.

I have Truglo TFX sights on several guns and they are an excellent fit and have never moved.

Let us know how you like them. I would consider that for my EDC.

My TruGlo sights came in from Midway USA two days early. I was excited to try them on the TLE. The front sight was way too small for the cut in the slide. Even the original sight from Kimber slid freely after I cleaned up the cut. <heavy sigh>

So, on Monday I'll be calling the nice folk at customer service to send that back to be Yonkered. I'll miss the TLE. I suppose the Stainless Raptor Pro will have to console me.

Bummer. Hope you'll be able to console yourself enough with that Raptor while the TLE is on vacation in Yonkers.
