California Proposition 63 passes

What exactly dose this mean for out Calif. brothers. Are you going to have to go through a background check to buy ammo now and will you be charged for it? Will this kill mail order ammo purchases? What about magazines with greater capacity then 10 rounds, is it true that you're going to have to turn them in?

Might be a short period. We'll now have a 5 to 4 advantage in the courts, such harassment could be overturned.

Yes, background check for ammo purchase, any online orders will have to be shipped to your FFL and will be a charge. You will be able to purchase a "card" to avoid BG but card has a yearly cost. I have heard $100.00 AND ammo will have its own counter to purchase that has a camera to snap your pic.

2 days ago I decided to stop at 2 places on way home to see what .45 was going for. The cheapest around here was $35.00 for a box of 50.

Correct on mags, it has been that way for awhile but now I think if a mag can be removed, that gun is now illegal. Barrel break only for REGISTERED AR's. I will be at my friends gun shop today to confirm these new laws.

Anyone in Cali that wants/needs to sell high captivity mags let me know. No joke. I would rather buy them than see them get destroyed.

Calif tried something not as aggressive during Swartzenegger reign and it passed but was deem unconstitutional by a Federal Judge. Same thing should occur, right?

You will like this one too. Example: Tom and I go to the range, he has a new bad azz Kimber, I want to shoot it, wait... I can't!. Ok, well I can, I just have to fill out some paperwork, wait 10 days then I can. True story, forget what they are calling this but I will find out today.
